HILLS SERVICE
When you install your new Panasonic or Lanier multi-function output device you’ve got it right. Hills can provide the right multi-functional output device to meet your needs now and in the future .
Ensuring you maximise the productivity and efficiency from your new multi-function device - your service maintenance agreement includes:-
1. Training your staff
On-site customer training is the first service we provide after your copier is installed. A specialist Hills Customer Training Officer will instruct all personnel in normal operating procedures, simple maintenance such as toner replacement, and how to rectify jams and avoid difficulties.
2. Service Hotline: 55 323244
One call is all it takes to activate the fastest copier service organisation in Australia. Your Hotline call is picked up by your area’s Service Controller who logs the details into the computer before dispatching the nearest Service Engineer to you. If needed by the technician, your entire service history is immediately available. 90% of copier problems are solved on the spot using the equipment and spare parts stored in the Hills Service Vehicle.
3. A Servicing Partnership
When a service call is completed, your Hills Service Engineer will explain the fault and how it has been rectified. If the fault was due to operator error, the engineer will explain how it can be avoided in the future. After the call, you receive a Field Service Report, which tells you what was done and how long it took to get your copier back into top condition.
To ensure maximum copier performance, the Hills Service Computer can calculate the average number of copies you make over a period of time and set up a regular service maintenance call schedule.
4. Parts and Components
All Hills Service Engineers carry a personal stock of commonly used parts, and are supported by numerous branch centres for other parts. Supporting them all is Panasonic's and Lanier's National warehouses with over $8 million in stock, regularly providing overnight delivery.
5. Average 4 Hour Response
In response to your service call Hills has an average response time of four hours within the metropolitan areas of the Gold Coast. Hills current average response time is actually less than three hours – from the time the call is made to when the technician walks through the door.
6. Specialist Knowledge
Hills has one of the largest trained Service Departments on the Gold Coast, 8 Staff. Our Service Engineers are factory trained specialising in a single group of products, so each has the comprehensive knowledge needed to get your copier running perfectly again – fast.
If any copier has an abnormally high call-out rate, the service supervisor is automatically advised by the computer. Then the full weight of the Hills Service Team and management are brought into action. In the unlikely event that a copier fault cannot be rectified, the machine is taken away for repair and a replacement copier provided.
